Poggio Mirabile is the first structure in Tuscany to obtain Casa Clima Welcome accreditation. The architects Fabiano and Alberto Trabucchi planned for total building efficiency, to reduce environmental impact by using the best raw materials and cutting-edge technologies available while striving to provide maximum comfort for guests. The building's insulated cladding plays with two textures - the soft texture of the yellow plastered walls and the varied rustic texture of murogeopietra. Working closely with the technical department at Geopietra enabled the architects to create a bespoke solution using shapes and shades of stone inspired by those typical of the location. Sustainability and the fascination of traditions rise from the hill where a 17-metre stretch of water faces onto magnificent views of the Maremma coast in Tuscany.
