A chalet nestled in the heart of the Alps, featuring a simple yet elegant design that seamlessly blends modern and traditional elements. The project takes advantage of the sloping terrain to elevate the building, which consists of six flats, providing stunning views from the upper floors. One of its standout features is the use of Geopietra^® manufactured stone, which harmoniously combines with wood. The stone is prominently used on the perimeter walls and the building's base. Moreover, it adds a refined elegance to the facades, complementing the wooden elements perfectly. The manufactured stone cladding, featuring a custom-designed model for this project, faithfully reproduces the weathered appearance and charm of old masonry. Its shades, ranging from gray to brown, create a visual harmony that enhances the Geopietra^® masonry’s design and strengthens the connection with the surrounding environment. Additionally, the stone has been applied on external thermal insulation, promoting a comfortable and living environment. Geopietra^® gives the project a unique character, reflecting the real identity of the place.
