We are located in Gargano countryside, in Apulia. Located in the north-eastern part of the local promontory, this municipality forms the heart of the Gargano National Park. Immersed in this rural landscape we find Villa Boc. "Cladding stone, as in the local tradition, was used for the walls of the building, in order to perform a thermoregulating function due to its mass" said architect Columpsi. For this masonry, the manufactured natural stone Geopietra® was used, choosing Botticino model, in a mixture of shades. The whole encloses a volume with a contemporary language, which nevertheless does not close in on itself, but seeks a dialogue with its surroundings. The design idea arose from the desire to create a space in which matter, light and function could be united under the guidance of geometry. The overall approach addresses each individual environment in a 360° way, so that the end result is characterised by visual unity.
