An elegant extension: the new face of a nursing home in Antrona Valley.

The project involving the extension of this nursing home in the picturesque Antrona Valley, in Piedmont, has given life to a new building, wisely integrated with the existing structure. This intervention, undertaken by a talented team of three architects, doubled the accommodation capacity by carving out new spaces for a medical office, a multimedia area, and a charming garden. Traditional materials, such as concrete for foundations combined with steel were chosen to assure solidity, safety, and high performance.

However, the protagonist is the Geopietra^® cladding, that brings a touch of elegance and authenticity to the overall project. The Scaglia model from Geopietra^®, in Grigio Terra shade and with a dense and richly detailed texture, covers the exterior of the new body closest to the city centre. As this model belongs to the Panel profile, the dry installation was carried out. The extended facility not only houses modern and safe ambiences, but also becomes a hub for new guests. The spaces, carefully and thoughtfully designed, encourage interaction and well-being by creating a welcoming and stimulating environment. The combination of innovative architectural elements with traditional materials reveals a perfect balance between history and innovation, bringing a distinctive character to the whole.
