Situated in a setting dominated by the majestic mountains, the Valtur Cervinia Cristallo Ski Resort harmoniously fits hinto the landscape, respecting the context in which it is located. The use of materials, such as Geopietra^® manufactured stone and wood, plays a fundamental role in this integration. The stone, chosen for its connection to local tradition, combined with wood, entirely clad the buildings. This blend of materials creates an atmosphere that not only conveys aesthetic appeal but also echoes the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The Geopietra^® model chosen for this project and used outdoors features a custom design specifically tailored to fit the structure, with a careful use of shapes and sizes that enhance the masonry’s authentic appearance itself (Geocorner - Cantonale Appenninico). The variety in the cladding ranges from soft lines to more defined ones. Additionally, the different shades enrich the cladding and accentuate its diversity. Further refining the stone cladding are the special Geofit^® pieces, that add harmony to the texture.
