A passion for architecture began in adolescence, when he attended art college and gained his diploma with top marks, delivering a thesis on architecture in the history of art. He decided to build on his knowledge by enrolling at Milan Polytechnic, graduating with a degree in Architectural Design - History of Architecture with distinction. Once registered as an authorised architect, planner, landscaper and conservationist with the provincial government department of Como, he started his career as an architect in local companies, first in the district of Copparo, moving a year later to the architectural firm run by Marco Brambilla. He has been self-employed since 2002, when he set up his firm Studio Trabucchi Architetti, where he has continually sought the most effective methods for creating buildings that are highly energy efficient.
