Architecture Environnement P.M. was established in 2002 and is based in Montpellier. It is jointly managed by two chartered architects, Laurent Pelus and Régis Méguin, who graduated in Environmental Quality Management. "Architecture is currently fitting into a new context that focuses on safeguarding the environment and wellbeing of its inhabitants, and we feel this requires a major change in approach to construction. We want to meet this ever-pressing requirement to reconcile buildings with the environment through our work. For us this means a significantly new way of building, incorporating the long-term perspective as a fundamental concept of sustainable development.”
