In 1995 he began operating as a freelancer, working in particular with an architectural firm specialising in bio-construction projects, which led to the Casa Clima A + Gold award in 2005 from the provincial government's air and noise department. In 2007 he started providing consultancy services through the agency Casa Clima, in relation to bio-construction, energy matters, solid and timber houses, and housing with environmental endorsements. He is now the owner of Mark Pichler Studio Tecnico, leading a six-strong team of dynamic surveyors and architects with considerable experience and expertise in designing, coordinating and implementing all types of projects.
