An aparthotel in La Plagne Montalbert that blends luxury, aesthetic, and innovation with our stone veneer.

A new concept of tourist accommodation

Nestled in the French Alps, the real estate group Terrésens has created a true icon of hospitality: Résidence Le Snoroc. Opened in February 2023 under the "Daddy Pool" brand, this hotel residence redefines alpine getaways. It is an aparthotel that combines the privacy and luxury of exquisite flats with the welcoming atmosphere of spacious common areas. Situated in La Plagne Montalbert, an authentic village in the Savoie department, Le Snoroc overlooks the Beaufortain Massif, offering a haven of peace and tranquility. Thanks to its prime location, the hotel is just steps away from the Parajourdan and Paradiski ski lifts, providing guests with an experience steeped in nature and relaxation. Le Snoroc consists of three chalets, featuring seventy-eight flats with terraces or balconies that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The interiors showcase a perfect blend of modern design and vintage details, creating an enchanting environment. Among the common areas, there is a wellness zone with a heated indoor pool, treatment rooms, a games room, a bar, and a reception area with a fireplace, ensuring a warm welcome.

The unique character of Geopietra® manufactured stone

Le Snoroc stands out for its innovative combination of traditional and modern materials. The chalets' facades, clad in aged wood, are interspersed with Geopietra® stone wall cladding. The interplay between the horizontal lines of the stone and the vertical lines of the wood adds movement and liveliness to the building while maintaining its inherent elegance. This blend of materials and forms is crafted to achieve a perfect balance with the surrounding Alpine landscape, allowing Le Snoroc to integrate seamlessly into its natural environment. This enhances the area's beauty while respecting its unique characteristics.

The use of stone for the exterior cladding extends beyond the facade, continuing into the interior of the residence, creating a cohesive style that enriches the spaces. This element adds a distinctive and refined touch to the communal areas, particularly around the pool.

For this project, the architects selected the Rivarolo model from Murogeopietra®, a distinctive choice that highlights attention to detail and harmony with the surroundings. This model is characterized by its irregular texture, giving a natural and authentic appearance. The variety of shapes, sizes, and shades in the Rivarolo model allows for a varied composition that visually enriches the perimeter base and retaining walls of the structure while contributing to a dynamic architectural setting. Belonging to the “Spontaneous” profile, the Rivarolo model excels in integrating effortlessly with nature, enhancing each space with sophistication.

The finishing details: installation and special components

The masonry profile is enhanced by the sophisticated plus dry-stack installation, which eliminates mortar in favor of inserting small thin chips, known as GeoFit® special components. These are used to fill the gaps between the stones, visually replicating the stability effect typical of traditional masonry. Thanks to these details, the texture of the wall gains a unique character. Completing and further enhancing the aesthetic of the masonry are the GeoCover wall caps. Not only do they protect the masonry from water infiltration due to their high resistance and frost-proof characteristics, but they also seamlessly integrate with the overall design. With their flat surface and split-finish edges, they add a refined aesthetic touch, giving the wall a finished and harmonious appearance.

Murogeopietra® on external thermal insulation

Le Snoroc provides an architectural approach that extends beyond mere aesthetics, integrating cutting-edge solutions for functionality and energy efficiency. The Murogeopietra® cladding has been applied to harmoniously balance both visual appeal and technical performance. It has been partially installed on reinforced concrete and partially on EPS external thermal insulation, using the tested and guaranteed Abitasistema® system, which ensures quality and safety.

A luxury retreat in the snow

Le Snoroc is not just a holiday residence; it is a true luxury retreat that seamlessly blends the authentic beauty of Geopietra® manufactured stone with contemporary and sophisticated design. Every detail has been meticulously crafted to provide guests with an exclusive stay, prioritizing ultimate comfort and peace. Nestled in a breathtaking natural setting, Le Snoroc stands out as a true "gem" nestled in the majestic French Alps, making it the perfect destination for those seeking a unique and unforgettable high-altitude experience.
