This villa invites you to reconnect with nature, enveloping you in a landscape that flows indoors through expansive glass surfaces, blending indoor and outdoor spaces. Every corner, every space has been thoughtfully designed to balance the solidity of modern architecture with the warmth of tradition: the sloping metal roof, minimalist and linear in shape, contrasts with the beauty of the wooden cladding on part of the façade, while the exposed steel reveals the strength and character of the contemporary design. Complementing this, a large wall clad in Geopietra^® manufactured stone adds warmth to the overall design. The stone not only reinforces the visual connection with the surrounding natural environment but also creates an intriguing contrast with modern materials, particularly metal and glass. The angled skylights and panoramic windows flood each space with natural light, creating open, airy environments where the boundaries between inside and outside blur.

Designed by architect Hans Arends from Hans Arends Architect studio, this project serves a retreat that reinterprets traditional lines, enhancing them with contemporary design details. The mirrored glass covering every side of the villa makes it an integral part of the landscape, creating a symbiosis that evolves with each season. The villa thus appears to transform into a natural extension of its surroundings, almost becoming a part of the scenery itself, enriching the view rather than disrupting it. This visual interplay between reflection and reality contributes to a sense of harmony between the built and nature.

THE STONE VENEER: A SEAMLESS CONNECTION BETWEEN INDOOR AND OUTDOOR SPACES

The Geopietra^® manufactured stone wall cladding extends from the outdoor area of the ground floor into the living room, playing a crucial role in creating harmony between indoors and outdoors. Its elegant presence seems to naturally emerge from the surroundings, dissolving the boundary between inside and outside, and allowing them to seamlessly merge into a visual and spatial continuum. This design offers an atmosphere of serenity and balance.

This principle of continuity between interior and exterior is not just an aesthetic concept, but an essential design element that provides a cohesive living experience. THE DRY-STACK INSTALLATION OF THE MASONRY

The dry-stack installation used for the villa’s stone veneer is characterized by the absence of visible mortar between the stones, giving the surface an extremely clean and continuous appearance. This method, which eliminates any interruption between materials, fully enhances the natural beauty of the stones, highlighting their shade and texture while creating a visually striking effect.
